2021 begins, and with it comes the nerves, the expectation, and the illusion of the 2021 World Jigsaw Puzzle Championship, organized by the World Jigsaw Puzzle Federation. Last year's edition was suspended due to the global pandemic, but we hope that the situation will continue to improve in 2021 and this great event can occur. The chosen date is September 23rd until the 26th.

More than 1000 puzzlers from 40 countries met at the Millennium Dome in Valladolid in its first edition. I can tell you that the feeling of being there is priceless; seeing so many people who share our same hobby in one place is fabulous and worth living.

This edition will continue to have its three initial tests: Teams, Pairs, and Individual. As you might expect, the organization had significant changes to comply with preventive health measures. This year the World Puzzle Championship will be divided into two phases: classification and final. This way, more puzzlers will be able to participate, avoiding crowding inside the dome.
